Genesis of the project - Or storytime with EloOnce upon a time—
Yeah okay, no, I promise I'll make it short(ish). As often, I was busy screaming at Lanlan about zines in general and I started to formulate the idea that now that I made my Dabi zine, I would love to create a Hawks one. Lanni being an awful enabler, she pushed me to do it. Many Vogue, Marie-Claire, GQ and Vanity Fair later, the concept of Indulge came to life.
And then Clara arrived with her impeccable taste and amazing ideas and not only did she give the zine its visual identity, she also gave it its name.
This project is the meeting of our shared passion for the Bird™, our love for pretty things, and our tendency to always Indulge ourselves.Are you coming?

Q: Okay, can you stop being cryptic for one sec and explain what the hell is this zine?
A: Of course my little cupcake (you don’t mind me calling you cupcake, do you? No? Good). So Indulge aims to be a “fake” magazine. Unlike other classic zines, you won’t find your usual fanfics and charms and stuff. BUT, instead, you’ll find fake articles mainly about Hawks, stupid tests, fake horoscopes, fake ads, and the like. Basically, flip through GQ or Vogue, and you’ll get an idea of what it’s going to look like ;) The only true thing about this zine is our undying love for Hawks :DQ: SFW? Ship? Charity or profit?
A: Well, we said GQ and Vogue, not Playboy or your favorite porn mag (if those things still exist?). So obviously, SFW (but y’know, we’re not against seeing our favs in sexy poses, if you catch my drift).
Indulge doesn’t have the vocation to be shippy but hints will be allowed, because we’re weak like that.
Charity or profit? It will be 50% profit and 50% charity. Charity tbd ^^Q: Will you allow characters other than Hawks?
A: YES! 100000 times yes!! The main focus will obviously be our oversized chicken but for the fake ads and a few articles, other characters will be allowed (we’ll try to be as canon-compliant as possible so unfortunately, no villains. I know, rude. Believe us, it’s breaking our hearts). We will also accept OC so go wild!
Only rule: all characters will have to be 18+ (so if you want to have a fake ad with Bakugo and eyeliner, draw him as a full-fledged Pro Hero :3)Q: Do we need to come up with ideas for articles?
A: We already have a pretty good idea of what we want to see in the zine, sections and articles and the like, especially for writers. You will be able to pick among those in the app form. But we’re also open to suggestions (one brain cell for 3 has some limits, no matter how big it
